BIOGRAPHY
平田 彩乃（ひらた あやの）
1989年愛知県生まれ。2013年京都精華大学芸術学部メディア造形学科版画コース卒業。2015年京都市立芸術大学大学院美術研究科版画専攻修了。
擬音語[sin-sin]（しんしん）をテーマとし水性多色木版技法で制作する。雪が降り積もるときに用いいられるこの擬音語は、摺りの過程において、版から紙へと絵具がしみ込む様子ともリンクする。
降り積もる雪のように、時間が過ぎているのに止まったような、レイヤー的なイメージを再構築し、版画におこしている。

Born in 1989, JAPAN. Majored in printing at Kyoto Seika University B.A. and Kyoto City University of Arts M.A.
The theme is the onomatopoeic word [sin-sin], and it is produced using water-based multicolor woodblock printing techniques. [sin-sin], used when snow is falling, is also linked to the way paint soaks from the plate to the paper during the printing process.
Like falling snow, she recreates a layered image that seems to have stopped even though time has passed, and creates it in her prints.
